Types of Therapy

The types of therapy listed below provides an overview of the types our therapists are trained in and most often use.

Play Therapy

Play therapy includes engaging interactive activities which utilize children’s natural communication and learning modality-play. Through play, children express themselves (both good and bad emotions), creative thinking and natural exploration are stimulated, and children practice and enhance survival skills.

Prepare/Enrich (certified)

One of the most widely researched assessment tools. P/E equips marriage champions, couples, and families with evidence-based skills and insights to foster healthy relationships. The assessment itself has been proven to improve relationship satisfaction among couples.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the psychological process of purposely bringing one's attention to experiences occurring in the present moment without judgment. It is the quality of being present and fully engaged with whatever we're doing at the present moment.

Psychotherapy

A process where psychological problems are treated through communication and relationship factors between an individual and a trained mental health professional. Often referred to as talk therapy.
